CS-II Glass Coating

How long does it take for the CS-II GLASS COATING to cure?

  • After two hours, the car can be used; 48 hours later, the surface will be completely cured.
  • The water repelling ability decreases after a short time, what has happened?

  • The repelling ability can fade because of contaminants on the surface, most commonly dirt. Owners can simply use the preservation solution to clean the surface or wash the dirt off thoroughly with plenty of water. The repelling effect will return.
  • Does frost or heat damage the sealed surface?

  • No, the coating is temperature-resistant.
  • Can the CS-II GLASS COATING be used on all car rims?

  • Yes, it can be used on all steel, alloy, and chrome wheels.
  • Is the sealant harmless to skin?

  • Yes, it is harmless to the skin. In fact, it has been tested by an independent institute and has been determined to be safe.
  • Can I remove the nano sealant?

  • No, the coating can be removed only by our trained technicians.
  • What needs to be done if the coating has been damaged?

  • If the coating has been damaged, the car can be taken to any authorized CS-II Center to have the surface re-coated.
  • What needs to be done if the coating has been damaged?

  • If the coating is damaged, simply send it to any authorized CS-II center to have the surface re-coated again.
  • Permanent coating?

  • You can think of CS-II Glass Coating Resin as adding a glossier, chemical resistant, and harder clear coat to the paint’s surface. CS-II Glass Coating is a permanent coating in the same sense that the clear coat on your car is permanent. The existing clear coat will eventually wear away over time; its overall longevity depends on factors and proper application.
  • Can CS-II Glass Coating be treated on most areas?

  • CS-II Glass Coating can be treated on all exterior surfaces including paint, glass, metal, stainless steel, chrome, gel coat, plastic composites, exhaust and wheels. CS-II Glass Coating should not be used on rubber or soft plastics.
  • Can CS-II Glass Coating be applied on rubber moldings?

  • CS-II Glass Coating Resin or Pre-Clean should not be used on rubber moldings or rubber seals.
  • Carbon fiber too?

  • Definitely, you can apply CS-II Glass Coating to carbon fiber shields, panels, and parts.
  • What about my decals, emblems, etc.?

  • CS-II Glass Coating can be applied right over any decals and will even add gloss to your emblems.
  • Is a special car wash or soap needed to wash my vehicle before application?

  • There is no need for any special washing detergent or soap; any residue will be removed by our CS-II Glass Coating Pre-Clean Solution.
  • What about after application?

  • Fortunately, there is no need to wash with special washing soap or shampoo. You can even use an automated car wash to clean your car.
  • Can CS-II Glass Coating be waxed or sealed over?

  • Waxing or sealing over CS-II Glass Coating will not damage the coating. However, allow the CS-II Glass Coating to cure for at least 3 days before applying another product.
  • Do I need to remove bird droppings from my car instantly?

  • Remove bird droppings from your car as soon as possible. To remove them easily, saturate the dropping with water and wipe off. Avoid scraping.
  • What happens when the water repellency of my coating decreases?

  • The water repellency of the coating will decrease over time due to the buildup of contaminants. To resolve the problem, just clean the surface with a mild cleaner and wash off thoroughly with water. The hydrophobic effect will then be reproduced.
  • Is there anything else I must remove from my paint before application?

  • Transit wrap, tape or glue lines, bug residue, road tar, and any other contaminants must be removed from the paint before application. All polishing must also be done prior to application. Use the CS-II Glass Coating Pre-Cleaner or an equivalent prep-solvent to remove these residues.
  • Do I need to level the Glass Coating when it is evaporating?

  • No, CS-II Glass Coating is designed to level itself without external help.
  • What should I do about missed spots?

  • Missed spots can be fixed easily by applying CS-II Glass Coating to the missed area then buffing it off. CS-II Glass Coating will level itself with the previously treated surface on its own.
  • What is the curing time for CS-II Glass Coating?

  • CS-II Glass Coating cures immediately after application. After the coating has cured, it is best to avoid washing the car or driving in rain for the next day. Over the next 3 days, CS-II Glass Coating will continue to become harder until the surface reaches maximum hardness.
  • Can I use a spray gun for the application?

  • CS-II Glass Coating can be applied using a pneumatic spray gun. However, using a spray gun also uses excessive amounts of product. The hand applied CS-II Glass Coating product is thick enough to protect the paintwork when cured and uses a lot less product.
  • After my coating has cured, is there a way to remove it?

  • After the CS-II Glass Coating has cured, it can only be removed by polishing (compounding) or wet sanding.
  • Do I need any safety equipment when applying CS-II Glass Coating?

  • Rubber gloves should be worn. A respirator is also recommended for applications in closed and poorly ventilated areas.

    HYDROPHOBICITY of our product:
The hydrophobic effect is when water or dirt touches a paint surface and is repelled. If you were to look under a microscope at normal paint that has not been treated, you would see it is not completely smooth. This allows dirt to form on the paint easier. Because water can’t settle onto the surface, dirt and water simply wash off, providing a clean surface and helping keep your paint cleaner longer.

The coating is long lasting and UV stable. The glass coating can’t be removed by normal car washing. It is made to last a long time on the surface of your paint. CS-II guarantees your paint will have a smooth, shiny, lustrous surface for years to come.

With most other sealants or nano-coatings, dried water spots can still penetrate the coating. When this happens, it’s very difficult to remove. With our coating, water spots will not bond to the surface and are easily remedied.

The CS-II glass coating can be applied to any surface, whether it’s glass, metal, plastic or leather.
